Honest Music was a term that came to me when people would ask what type of music I was creating. I felt that Reggae in itself was not a good enough description so I coined the phrase Honest Music to better describe the sentiment behind the songs.
featuring artists from around the globe. We also produced the “Riddem of Life” album for Kenyatta Hill as well as the acclaimed ‘In one accord” album for Puma Ptah of Thievery Corporation.
We are now slated for the first instrumental release entitled, “ Kung fu action theatre” which features Chinese instruments over a roots reggae backdrop.

Christos DC
The artist/producer/songwriter
hristos DC was born and raised in Washington, DC, by parents who sang opera and taught voice professionally. He takes his name from his Greek heritage using a nickname given to him by his grandmother & also to represent his birthplace that set the tone of his musical journey. His sound is best described as a blend of downtempo, reggae with overtones of jazz.

Kenyatta Hill
‘Jr Culture’
Hailing from Kingston,Jamaica, Kenyatta ‘Jr Culture’ Hill’s career as a singer began the day his father’s ended. Joseph Hill, singer and songwriter of the legendary Jamaican vocal trio Culture, passed away in 2006 while on tour in Europe. Left without a lead singer, Kenyatta – then the band’s sound engineer – stepped from behind the mixing board and onstage to deliver 19 electrifying performances until the completion of the tour.Fans, promoters, and critics all agreed: a rising star manifested and the legacy of Culture would live on.
Following his debut, Kenyatta embarked on a successful U.S. tour with Beres Hammond and released a celebrated tribute album in 2011, “Live On: A Tribute To Culture”. He continued to tour extensively across the globe, honing his craft as a solo artist and keeping the legacy of Culture alive for reggae lovers everywhere.

Puma Ptah
In One Accord
A fundamental sense of oneness of all life can be reached through music but there has to be a base consistent in compassion and empathy.”
Born Christopher Smith in St. Thomas US Virgin Islands, and formerly known as RasPuma, Puma Ptah remembers writing lyrics from as early as elementary school.
In 2006 he moved to Virginia where he joined several Local bands which eventually lead to joining the renowned DC based Thievery Corporation and was featured on their 2011 “Culture of Fear” voicing songs “Overstand” and “False Flag Dub” and continues his international travels with the group today.
In 2012 he was featured on the “The Archives” debut album produced by Eric Hilton of Thievery Corporation with tracks “Who’s Correct” “More to Life” “Sensibility” and more.
