When I chose to create the video, I felt that the subject matter had nothing to do with me directly. Instead, it made much more sense to represent me as two shadows. One that is speaking and the other that is listening in agreement. As a little kid, I was a big fan of a TV show called The Electric Company. They had a segment where they taught children words with shadows of two different profiles.

One shadow would say the first syllable, and the next shadow would say the second syllable to create words.

I have wanted to use this concept for many years, and this was the perfect project. We thought it would be an appropriate commentary in itself to add hashtags.
